A really together row today, with a good result!
We really attacked the first minute and set ourselves up nicely for the rest of the race. Our build reached 36 and we strode to a comfortable 33. Good start! We took ground on Christs ahead, as Queens disappeared into the distance behind. There were a few moments where the technique started to go but, with a few good calls, we managed to pull it back each time.
Our fitness did start to hold us back on the reach and we started to slow, allowing Christs to pull away. We did not, however, let ourselves lose it! Dispite tiredness, we still kept the work together and efficient and our pushes and build for the finish were determined.
I really enjoyed today's row. Let's work on our fitness, keep ourselves improving, and this boat will fly!
